1. Permitted use

The service is intended for lawful image editing and export workflows. You may use it for personal or business purposes only in a way that complies with these terms and applicable law.

You are responsible for the content you process. You must have all rights, permissions, and legal authority necessary to edit, transform, export, publish, or distribute any image you use with the site.

2. Your files and generated output

The current implementation does not provide an account system, hosted media library, or cloud backup for your working files. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of source images and downloaded results.

Depending on the tool, exported results may be downloaded as PNG files or ZIP archives containing PNG image slices. Output names, dimensions, transparency handling, metadata, and visual appearance may differ from the source image based on the selected operation, browser behavior, and current implementation.

3. Current technical scope

ImageScissors is built around browser APIs such as file input, object URLs, canvas rendering, and local download generation. Routine tool usage is designed to run locally in your browser rather than as a managed server-side editing service.

The site may apply technical limits such as accepted image types, file size limits, dimension limits, export constraints, or browser compatibility requirements. Those limits may change as the product changes.

4. Prohibited conduct

You may not use the service to violate copyright, privacy, trademark, publicity, or other rights; to create or distribute unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or harmful content; or to interfere with the site's operation, availability, or security.

Automated scraping abuse, attempts to bypass technical restrictions, and unauthorized resale, white-label redistribution, or re-hosting of the service itself are prohibited without written permission.

5. Availability and changes

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We aim for reliable access and predictable output, but uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, and compatibility with every device, browser, or image source are not guaranteed.

We may add, remove, suspend, or modify features, limits, supported formats, export behavior, page content, or access conditions at any time. We may also suspend access to protect infrastructure, investigate abuse, or comply with legal obligations.

6. Intellectual property

The website design, branding, software implementation, and related site materials remain the property of the site operator or its licensors. Your ownership rights in your original images remain yours, subject to the rights of any third parties who may have an interest in that content.

7. Disclaimers and liability limits

You should review and validate exported files before using them in production, publishing, advertising, ecommerce, or other downstream workflows. We are not responsible for losses caused by incorrect framing, orientation, dimensions, quality changes, missing metadata, failed downloads, browser issues, or your use of the output.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or third-party claims arising from your use of the site or exported files.

8. Updates to these terms

We may revise these Terms of Use from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date shown on this page. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
