Privacy Policy

ImageScissors is a browser-based image utility. As of the date above, the site's image tools run locally in your browser for tasks such as splitting, grid cutting, cropping, square formatting, flipping, rotating, and resizing. In the normal tool flow, the image file you choose is processed on your device and is not uploaded by the tool code to an application server for editing.

Core image processing happens on your local device using browser APIs such as file input, object URLs, canvas rendering, and local download generation.

We do not sell personal information, and the current implementation is not designed to broker or monetize image content processed through the local tools.

1. Image files and generated output

When you select an image, your browser loads it locally so the page can preview and process it. The current implementation uses temporary in-browser object URLs and canvas operations to prepare previews and exported files. Generated files are downloaded directly from your browser to your device.

We do not provide account-based cloud storage, and the current tool implementation does not send your source image or generated result to a server for routine editing operations.

2. Information stored in your browser

The current site stores a language preference in your browser's local storage so the language selector can remember your last choice across visits.

Aside from that preference storage and standard browser caching, the site's image tools do not require you to create an account, sign in, or submit a profile in order to use the core features.

3. Website requests and technical data

Like any website, ImageScissors must deliver HTML, CSS, JavaScript, fonts, and image assets to your browser. As part of that delivery, your browser may provide technical information such as your IP address, user agent, requested URL, referrer, and access time to the hosting or network infrastructure serving the site.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

The current ImageScissors implementation does not rely on first-party cookies for its core image editing features. The only browser-side preference persistence currently implemented in site code is local storage for language selection.

You can clear local storage and cached site data through your browser settings at any time, although doing so may reset remembered preferences.

5. Third-party services

The current site implementation does not integrate a third-party image editing or cloud upload service into the tool flow. If you use an external email provider or open links that point outside this site, those third parties handle your information under their own policies.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if the site's features, storage behavior, hosting setup, or legal obligations change. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date shown on this page.
